This is what we
will be making

This tutorial is
fairly long, so bear with me. It is written for versions 8 & 9 and
it is assumed that you have a working knowledge of PSP.
Here we will use
DSB Flux Center Mirror, Filter Factory Gallery H
Zoom Blur and Almathera Warper and this
mask

Lets get started
Open a
new canvas 600 x 600
Remember - once you have duplicated a layer, you can not move
anything around or you will get a tag that hops. If you move
anything around by mistake go to edit - undo move !!!
Fill
the canvas with a colour of your choice
Go to
Layers - Load/Save Mask - Load Mask from disk. Scroll until you find
the right mask
use
these settings

Click
Load
Go to
Layers - Merge Group
Resize
by 85% - all layers not checked
now go
to Effects - DSB Flux Center Mirror - Mirrors 10 - Rotation 100
Still
on the same layer - Effects - Almathera Warper - Warp factor -20.
Twirl and Transparency 0.
Still
on the same layer - Effects - Filter Factory Gallery H - Zoom Blur -
Amount 22 - Adjust 9
Repeat
Almathera Warper with same settings
This is
what we should have now

Rename
this layer to Mask and duplicate the layer twice and add a
new raster layer
Find
your preset shapes and find a shape of your liking. I mostly use the
star and heart shapes. I find they work best with this tag.
Foreground colour active, background colour turned off
Draw
your star/heart so it covers the empty middle of the mask.

Highlight the vector layer and choose Convert to raster layer.
Rename this layer Star

Delete
the layer called Raster 1
Now
duplicate the Star layer twice
Add
Inner Bevel with these settings

Hide
the two copy layers and highlight the first Star layer. Go to Adjust
- Add/Remove Noise - Add Noise
Choose
Gaussian - 70% - Monochrome checked.
now
click inside the star with your magic wand and flood fill with a
colour of your choice.
Now
hide this layer and unhide the first copy layer, highlight and add
noise. This time choose Uniform, same settings. Click inside the
star and flood fill with the same colour as before.
Hide
this layer and unhide the second copy layer, highlight and add
noise. This time choose Random with the same settings and click
inside the star and flood fill.
Find
the tube you want to use and copy and paste as a new layer. With
your mover tool place it on the tag and rename this layer to Tube.
We will wait with duplicating this layer, incase you want to move it
around.
Add a
new layer.
Find a
circle in your preset tools, turn off the background colour and draw
a circle around the image

Click
on your text tool and choose your font and colours. Move your mouse
around the circle until you see the letter A with a parenthesis
underneath the letter. Click and start typing your text. Eg. Good
Morning, Welcome etc. Before you click ok you can move the text
forward by pushing the spacebar on your keyboard. Click ok and add
your text. If you want to move it around, you can do this with the
deformation tool.
Now you
have a raster layer 1, a vector layer and Promoted layer. If you
move your mouse above the raster1 layer you will see there is
nothing there, so you can delete this layer and you can also delete
the vector layer. This will make the circle disappear.

Your
text is on the promoted layer. Duplicate this layer twice and add
noise on each of the layers as before. Gaussian, Uniform and Random
in order and again 70% and monochrome checked.
Go back
to your Tube layer and check that you have your tube where you want
it and duplicate twice. Also if you want to add artist copyright
this is a good time to do that on a new layer, rename to cright and
duplicate twice.
Add a
new layer. Write your name and rename this layer to name. Duplicate
twice and add noise with the same settings as before.
We have
now quite a few layers. Rule is that you should have 1 of each with
2 duplicates -> 3 layers of each. Move your mouse over your layer
palette to make sure you don't have any empty layers. Delete those.
Also if you wish your tag to have a white background you can add a
layer and move it to the bottom. Flood fill with white and duplicate
twice.
What I
usually do at this point is to hide ALL layers. Then I unhide the
bottom layer and every third layer working my way upwards on the
layer palette. This way I know that I get everything on each merge.
Once you have done that, go to Layers - Merge - Merge visible. Hide
the Merged layer and of the remaining layers unhide every other
layer and Merge visible. Hide this layer (you should now have two
merged layers) unhide the rest of the layers and merge visible.

Make
sure all the 3 merged layers are visible and save save image as psp
image.
Open
your animation shop.
Open
your animation wizard

Click
on Add Image and find the psp image you saved.
It
shows highlighted in the white box and then click Next
and
Finish
Your
animation is now showing as 3 frames
Go to
Edit - Select All and then to Animation - Resize
Resize
by 65%
You can
play your animation in animation shop to check your animation works
the way it's supposed to by clicking on this button

Click on it again to close the animation and save
as gif file
